The magic of yoga: Healing from the inside and out

Anyone who practices yoga during classes will feel many emotions and sensations: heartbeat, excitement, humility, calmness, happiness and joy, rhythm and harmony.

There is an awareness of values, and a desire to protect your thoughts and soul energy.

Spiritually, one develops the ability to let go of all thoughts, to understand and see everything that is happening around, deeper than usual.

Properties, results

All poses are designed to improve the health and rejuvenation of the body. Both internal and external organs are involved. The back becomes stronger, lower back pain goes away. The buttocks, stomach and thighs are tightened. Intestinal function improves. The waist appears. There is a beneficial effect on the chest, arms and shoulders. The body is tightened. Excess weight goes away, cellulite decreases.

In physical therapy, special exercises taken from yoga are often used, as they can relieve pain and tension. These techniques can strengthen and make the back and abdominal muscles elastic.

With competent and regular practice, the dynamics of internal organs increases. The back muscles are stretched and pinched nerve endings are relieved. The pressure on the intervertebral discs is reduced, and they take the right direction.

Yoga is good for the back and lumbar region, relieves blood stagnation in the knee and hip joints and is an excellent prevention of arthrosis.

Exercises for soul and body

Of course, it is better to start classes with a yoga instructor. But if this is not possible, then the simplest and most simple exercises can be mastered at home. It is important to avoid complex exercises with deep bends and twists; otherwise, if performed incorrectly, there is a risk of injury.

There should be no pain when performing the exercises. If there is discomfort, then most likely the exercise is being performed incorrectly.

When performing exercises, you must breathe through your nose or stomach, but in no case through your chest.
All exercises are performed slowly, with deep exhalation.

Yoga must be practiced on a floor covered with a thin carpet or a special yoga mat.
You should not practice immediately after eating.

A few examples for beginners:

  • Angle sitting face down;
  • Half bridge;
  • Diagonal stretch on all fours;
  • Abdominal twisting;
  • Mountain with hands in greeting;

  • Forearm plank.

Yoga, like any other type of physical activity, has contraindications. Therefore, you should consult a doctor or yoga trainer before starting classes on your own.
