The only contraindication for such practices is violations for which physical education is prohibited. This type of yoga is preferred by young people. As a rule, it is practiced by men.

Iyengar yoga is static and precise. The creator of the movement believed that spiritual practice exists for people, and not people exist for it. Therefore, this type of yoga is recommended for everyone; there are no contraindications. Even with joint dysfunction, these positions can be performed. To perform the positions, additional attributes are used: belts, mats, bolsters, bricks. These are static figures that take into account the characteristics of the performer. Therefore, this practice is considered safe.

Yin Yoga is distinguished by its lack of dynamics. Staying in positions can last up to 10 minutes. The purpose of the direction is to make connective tissue more elastic. In this case, the ligamentous apparatus and muscles are almost not loaded. The person fully relaxes and reboots. This type is suitable for daily physical fatigue. It is also chosen by older people. The practice is not recommended for overly flexible people with unstable joints. They should strengthen their muscles.

A separate direction has been created for pregnant women. Before training, the performer’s health and stage of pregnancy are assessed. The practice includes joint exercises, meditation, breathing elements and asanas. The complex helps to alleviate the condition of the pregnant woman.
